The client required a solution to automate vendor commission management based on product sales. When a lead was converted into a potential lead or deal, the system needed to automatically calculate and assign the appropriate commission to the associated vendor based on the product sold.

SOLUTION
NSIQ Infotech developed a custom Salesforce solution using standard components, automation tools, and custom configurations to automate vendor commission and bonus management.
A custom component was developed to track all leads and converted deals, providing complete visibility into the sales pipeline and enabling the client to monitor vendor performance effectively.
A flexible commission management system was implemented using Custom Metadata Types, allowing administrators to configure and update commission rules based on product categories, vendor performance, and other business criteria.
Formulas and validation rules were used to automatically calculate the net sales amount and the corresponding vendor commission. Commission values were updated automatically whenever a deal was successfully closed.
A tiered bonus system was created using Custom Metadata Types, enabling vendors to earn bonuses based on the number of leads successfully converted into deals. Salesforce Flow was implemented to dynamically calculate bonus eligibility according to predefined sales targets and achievement thresholds.
A user-friendly interface was developed to allow administrators to easily view and manage vendor commission structures, bonus configurations, and lead conversion status from a centralized location.
